This course focuses on identifying signs of mental health problems in children and adolescents. Participants will explore common mental health disorders affecting this demographic, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and conduct disorders. Through case studies and interactive sessions, learners will learn to recognize behavioral, emotional, and cognitive indicators of distress. Topics include risk factors, protective factors, and the impact of family dynamics and social environments on mental health. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to detect early warning signs, initiate appropriate interventions, and promote mental wellness in children and adolescents.
